As on the actual links courses, changing winds always seem to be a factor. The golf course allows so many different types of shots, the course sets up as a true shotmakers paradise.
The zoysiagrass fairways and greens surrounds are trimmed closely to allow varied shots especially running shots, and the bentgrass greens are maintained in a firm condition in an attempt to replicate playing conditions found on the true links courses.

A timeless test of golf… Forest Hills Country Club is the former site of the LPGA Heartland Classic, U.S. Open sectional and regional qualifying, PGA section events and U.S. amateur qualifying. The Championship 18-hole course was originally developed by Chick Adams, who strategically placed bunkers and hazards among the gently rolling terrain and offers a challenge to all skill levels from six sets of tee boxes. The greens are undulating and well protected. The course is tight and rewards accurate shots off the tees. This course will exceed your expectations for a spectacular round of golf.
Forest Hills Country Club's practice facility encompasses over 6 acres offering a multiple target driving range, two chipping and putting greens, one chipping only practice area and a sand bunker. This area is truly built for game development and is open year round.

Our world-class golf course at Pevely Farms, which opened in 1998, was laid out by one of the greatest names in golfing architecture - Arthur Hills, who has created more than 100 courses and renovated dozens more. Among the courses that bear his trademark are Oakmont, famed site of the 1994 U.S. Open; Oakland Hills, site of the 1996 U.S. Open; Bighorn Golf Club, where numerous golfing showdowns have been held; The Golf Club of Georgia, site of the Nationwide senior championship; and the Tournament Players Club at Eagle Trace, site of the PGA Honda Classic.
Hills commits himself on every assignment "to build a course that is natural, that relates very carefully to the land - and to design a course which exceeds expectations in beauty, preservation of natural features, and strategic design." His layout at Pevely Farms reflects a classic style sculpted out of amazing natural terrain. He considers the site he used for the course to be "in the top 10 percentile of land on which to build a golf course in North America." Our 18-hole layout is one of the longest championship courses in St. Louis and provides a strong challenge from the 7,115-yard Thoroughbred or championship tees (74.6/138). It will test your nerves from the 6,632 yard Clydesdale or back tees (72.0/134); provide an enjoyable test of your golfing skills from the 6,215 yard Mustang or middle tees (68.5/118); and display its versatility from the 5,249 yard Morgan or forward tees (70.7/117).

Renowned as the “Best City Golf Course in Mid-America”, The Norman K Probstein Golf Course in Forest Park is located just minutes from downtown St. Louis. As one of the oldest courses in the St. Louis area, The Norman K Probstein Golf Course was originally built as a 9-hole facility in 1912 by Scotsman Robert Foulis. The following year the second 9-hole course was completed and the final 9 was completed in 1915. The Norman K Probstein Golf Course in Forest Park offers a true St. Louis golf experience for golfers of all skill and ability levels.

The Highlands Golf and Tennis Center opened in April 2010. The 18 month renovation period included updates to the club house, pro shop and golf course. All 9 holes of our course were renovated and a driving range was added making it the only range located in the City of St. Louis.
The Highlands also maintains a fully operational restaurant with patio with a breathtaking view of the ninth hole and driving range.
Our thirteen clay tennis courts, the only public clay courts in the city, are open during daylight hours with four lighted courts for play after sunset.
Our club house can host custom meetings, birthday or anniversary parties and wedding receptions. From our “Hall of Fame Room” featuring a multimedia outlet for presentation to special events in the “World's Fair Room” which seats 150 comfortably our staff can tailor any event to your desire. You can also enhance any event by including a golf outing or tennis to your group's activities.

The par 3 course at Tower Tee is the perfect venue in which to hold a golf tournament. All age groups and skill levels can compete while having an enjoyable experience. We host numerous golf tournaments during the year for adults, juniors and families. We have also added adult and Jr. Glo-Ball tournaments to our schedule. These tournaments are played "in the dark" with balls that glow – an experience that every golfer should have at least once in their lifetime! We also have numerous corporate groups and charities that host tournaments at our facility throughout the season. On the last Tuesday in May you will find our course filled with local golf pros from the Gateway PGA. Our course is challenging enough for players of ALL levels!
